12AB5beam power tube of the 9-pin miniature type designed for use as the output amplifier in automobile radio receivers operating from a 12-volt storage battery. The 12AB5 can provide high power output because of its high power sensitivity and high efficiency. Design features of the 12AB5 include a large plate structure to allow for greater heat dissipation, a heater specially processed to withstand the severe operating conditions encountered during battery charging and discharging, and double base-pin connections for grid No. 1 and grid No. 2 to provide for cooler grid operation and greater flexibility of circuit connection.

12AT7ECC81High-mu twin triode
12AU6The 12AU6 is a pentode amplifier having a sharp cut-off control characteristic using the miniature construction. With high transconductance, low grid-plate capacitance, it is intended for service as either an RF or AF amplifier.
12AU7ECC82jjminiature medium-mu twin triode. This tube finds use as a phase-inverter/splitter in push-pull amplifier circuits in ac/dc radio equipment and in many diversified applications such as multivibrators or oscillators in industrial control devices. The tube is quite pokey and sections can even be connected in parallel to create a power amp with enough current to drive a pair of headphones or even a guitar speaker. A centre tapped heater permits operation of the tube from a 6.3V or a 12.6V heater supply. The tube requires a noval nine-contact socket and may be mounted in any position.
12AV6 GEcombines a high mu triode and two independent diode units in the 7-pin miniature construction. It permits a single tube to function as detector, AVC rectifier, and audio amplifier. Coupling between the diode and triode sections is minimized by the use of internal shielding.
12AV7miniature, medium-mu twin triode for use as a radio-frequency amplifier or as a combined oscillator and mixer in VHF television receivers. It my also be used as an audio-frequency amplifier.
12AX7ECC83miniature dual-triode high-gain (typical amplification factor 100), low-plate-current triode best suited for low-level audio voltage amplification. In this role it is widely used for the preamplifier (input and mid-level) stages of audio amplifiers.
